Spring energized seals are a highly reliable option when standard elastomer-based and polyurethane-based seals will not meet the operating limits, equipment parameters, or environmental conditions of your application. Even when a standard seal might meet basic needs, many engineers turn to spring energized seals for an added level of reliability and peace of mind.

Material:

Virgin PTFE	Excellent for static and light to moderate dynamic service.	-200°C~ +260°C
	Limited wear and heat resistance. FDA compliant
Modified PTFE	Excellent for light to moderate dynamic and static service.	-200°C~ +260°C
	Limited wear and heat resistance.Low gas permeability.
	FDA compliant. Good in creep and extrusion resistance.
UHMW-PE	Extremely good wear and abrasion resistance,	-150°C~ + 80°C
	but limited heat and chemical resistance. FDA compliant
PEEK	High modulus material with high temperature resistance.	-210°C~ + 310°C

PTFE + glass fibre	Tough, long wearing, heat resistant.	-200°C~ +260°C
	Recommended for high pressure hydraulic application.
PTFE + polymide	Excellent in dry service with low wear rate in vacuum and inert gases.	-260°C ~ +310°C
	Very low abrasion to dynamic mating surfaces.
